Our Purpose Is To Live Passionately – This is Your Moment

Our Purpose Is To Live PassionatelyThis is Your Moment

We are here to love more deeply, laugh harder, work less, play more, take vacation days, heal our wounds, and be happy.

We’re here to be present, speak our mind, trust our gut intuition, share the wealth, receive our gifts, connect with others, give from the heart, zone out less, tune in more, love ourselves – and know the rest will follow.

When you want to shout, “There has to be more than this,” that’s just the beginning.

Be willing to shine a light on your scary places.
Be brave and prepare to be set afire.

M. Scott Peck wrote:  “The truth is that our finest moments are most likely to occur when we are deeply uncomfortable, unhappy or unfulfilled. For it is only in such moments, propelled by our discomfort, that we are likely to step out of our ruts and start searching for different ways or truer answers.”

This is your moment, Shine your light. Be a star.
What are you passionate about? How are you living purposefully?

When a sailor goes out to sea, or a captain takes off on their ship, they will only leave after they’ve mapped out their course.  Otherwise they’d get lost at sea. Adrift. The end result could be catastrophic, and certainly they’d never get where they intended to go.  The same is true of you and your dream, you and your goals. You must create a chart. You must create a map. You can call it a Treasure Map, and if you follow the steps and action course from your map – you’ll reach the treasure!

Have a BIG dream, and give yourself MINI goals. Set mini goals you know you can achieve. Sneak away from the zone of the familiar that you’re used to. You can’t do anything new by doing the same old thing. You have to take contrary action and do the unfamiliar, take some risks. You’ll benefit from the momentum of change, you’ll feel alive.

Let go of worry and fear. If you over-worry a dream, over-check a goal, over-care for anything or anyone you’ll smother it and literally send it away. Don’t attempt to control outcomes.  Imagine that your dream and goal is a beautiful butterfly in your hand. You don’t want to squeeze it too tightly or you’ll crunch the beautiful butterfly. You don’t want to be too loose with it or it will fly away. You DO want to hold it gently. And so it is with your dreams and goals. Relax your body. Be present in what you’re doing. Concentrate positively on your vision; invite a successful launch of your dream. Stay present.

Jim Rohn said: “If you don’t design your own life plan, chances are you’ll fall into someone else’s plan. And guess what they have planned for you? Not much.”

Part of making dreams and goals come true is a leap of faith. You have to take a leap of faith. You’re attempting to manifest something that does not yet exist, so choose to have faith that it will exist. When you walk into a room its dark. But you trust that you’ll find a switch and when you switch it there will be light in the room. Right? Dreams are like that too. Right now it’s dark and the goal is not there yet, but if you keep taking your action steps a light will come on to shine on the reality of your dream come true. It will manifest into a space where there once was darkness.

Leave your comfort zone, and instead create a life that feels good and feels right. Don’t play it safe, being “safe” means you’ll regret not trying and end up living a life of fear. A leap of faith will make a high dream come into being.

Do you want to fulfill and live your dream? Do you want to feel happy and content? The cool thing about dreams and goals is you don’t even have to have achieved the completion of a dream before feeling happy.  Happiness easily comes when you step out of the familiar and start doing things that feel exhilarating to you. Showing yourself respect is making your dreams come true. Showing you trust yourself to live your goal means that you’re worth taking the necessary steps to get there, it shows great faith and self-love.

So what if you encounter obstacles or challenges.  If so then pull back, relax, rethink and revisit, then make adjustments and go back out to do what you’re here to do.

Norman Vincent Peale said: “If you put off everything till you’re sure of it, you’ll never get anything done.”

Your ultimate purpose in life is to experience and express a unique expression of the Spirit in a way that only YOU can.  No one else can take your place or play your role. It’s your purpose, it’s your role, it’s your time; it’s your place. No 2 snowflakes are the same. No two animals, no two plants, no two stars are the same. You are meant to be unique and different. It’s time for you to fulfill your unique path – to your dreams and goals.
