MIND OVER MATTER: The Intention Experiment

MIND OVER MATTER

That’s a saying people use a lot. When they use “mind over matter” it’s usually when giving advice to someone; it strikes me that they’re telling someone: “I know that your situation is tough, but if you toughen yourself even more you’ll get through it.”

But that’s not what mind over matter was ever meant to mean. Because mind over matter literally means just that:  our minds create the matter around us. Our minds create the physical universe that we experience.  Our mind is mater over the matter that makes up our world. So when you say to someone “Mind over Matter,” really you’re saying ~ use your thoughts to change what you’re experiencing, your thoughts create your reality.

Through science it has been documented and proved that the coalescing of minds affects the outcomes of events.  Scientists set up 37 Random Event Generators and as they collect data they’re seeing the generators have the ability to predict the future. They’re saying REG’s can show where a global consciousness is and is headed. Goggle it. It’s fascinating and will blow your mind. The famous author and speak, Gregg Braden  talks about the generators.

So these 37 different Random Event Generators around the world show that millions of minds thinking the same way send out the same vibes that organize output and bring order. They show that vast coalescing of human intention is actually capable of interacting with physical matter.   Also studies in mass mediation and prayer show similar results to Random Event Generators – where there is focused prayer and meditation on something, shows change to that something actually occurs.  Human consciousness outside the confines of the body is a highly ordered energy capable of changing the physical world.

So since that is true then doesn’t it make you wonder how human intention affects the world? Scientists have already proven that “focused thought” can affect literally anything – the growth rate of plants, the direction that fish swam in a bowl, the manner in which cells divided in a Petri dish, the synchronization of separate automated systems, and the chemical reactions in one’s body.

And if it can be affected positively, it can also be affected negatively based on the polluting thoughts sent to water, and other forms, human thought can literally transform its physical world.

Mind over Matter is not some New Age self-help mantra. The mind has the ability to alter the state of matter itself, and more importantly the mind has the power to encourage the physical world to move in a specific direction.

Don’t just take my word for it use what I’m giving you here and research it yourself. You’ll come out a changed person.

Lynne McTaggart, award-winning author of five books & internationally recognized spokesperson on the science of spirituality, wrote: “Living consciousness somehow is the influence that turns the possibility of something into something real.  The most essential ingredient in creating our universe is the consciousness that observes it.”

Between our ears is the most powerful force, a connection of God, as God is Source so are we. We have a powerful force right in our minds: our thoughts, our feelings, our words. If you choose to harness that power you can use it for immeasurable good. You can decide right now the dreams and goals you’ll create – intend them - and set the forces in motion. You can also work with like minded people to send out like minded vibration thoughts about world peace, about goodness for various countries and people; you can use it exponentially to create miracles.

Lynne McTaggart says that
based on the concepts of Newtonian PhysicsTo think is to affect.”

Starting today, make your own Intention Experiment.  Intend for great things to happen. Intend for very specific outcomes and then go experience it.  See where it takes you. Employ your thoughts to affect your world, and employ your thoughts to make your dreams and goals come true.

We are the masters of our own universe.

You Are More Capable Then You Give Yourself Credit For. You Can Do It – You Are Limitless and Can Push Yourself Further

“You can do it.
You can do more.
Don’t stop now.
Push a little harder.
I know you can.”
These are the words that the teacher spoke into her microphone as we were sweating and pumping our legs on our spinning bicycles in spinning class.

Every time she said this to us it pushed me harder and faster. It made me last. When I wanted to slow down it made me stick with it. It got me to the end.

It also got me thinking.

Wouldn’t it be great to hear that voice in one's head all the time, ensuring each of us that we can do it. Telling us to keep going. Telling us not to quit and keep it up, that you are doing great. A virtual cheerleader in your head. A voice that believes in you and fills you with confidence and the will to continue and finish.

So I offer this voice to everyone. You can choose also to have this voice in your head. Replace the voice that tells you you can’t, or you’re not enough, or it’s too hard with that voice that tells you how amazing you already are; this voice believes in you no matter what.

Picture this… you’re in a courtroom and your big, huge, juicy dream and goal is on trial. There’s a judge and two lawyers and you’re the plaintiff with the big dream. The trial starts and the opposing lawyer stands up and tells the court “I object, this person can’t possibly make their dream come true. They don’t have what it takes. They’re not talented enough, not pretty enough, not rich enough, and not smart enough.”

And the judge says “Objection overruled.”

The judge turns the case back to your lawyer who says “My client must have his/her dream come true -  that’s why they were put here. In this life my client was tasked with doing this particular work or joyful thing in this world. And they are so talented and so smart and so capable and so worthy of having their dream come true.”

And the judge says: “The court agrees. Please continue.”

Your lawyer tells the court that you can do it, can complete it, can make it happen, they know you can, they believe in you.

The judge shakes her head in agreement.

Now the opposing lawyer stands up with an objection: “The plaintiff is not enough. No way. Not them. Baloney. Never happen!”

And the judge cuts him off and says: “All your limitations are overruled!”

She looks back at your lawyer and says “Please continue.”

You lawyer, the defense attorney, addresses the jury and court and says: “This person has a wonderful dream and goal. We all have dreams and goals. Life is very fast. We can make it hard and we can choose to suffer -- or we can choose for it to be wonderful and make our dreams come true. I say to my client: You can do it. You can do more. Don’t stop now. Push a little harder. I know you can. Your dream is important and we believe in you.”

The jury then hands the judge the verdict. The judge reads the verdict: it says the plaintiff shall receive her dream and her goal. Further, we stand behind her and know, for sure, she can do it.

The jury also charges the prosecuting lawyer with stinking thinking and silences all his objections forever more. His penance going forward is to express only kind, nurturing, supportive things to say to himself and everyone else for the rest of his days.

With that court is adjourned!

Choose to envision this funny court setting anytime you have a self-limiting thought and your inner voice acts up like the opposing lawyer to your own dreams. Instead you can adopt the attitude of the supportive lawyer, the supportive judge, and the jury who awards you your dream. Silence that limiting voice and choose only the one that tells you to move forward and encourages you to do it.

Experience the voice that pushes you just a little further and boisters you up - in real life as well. Find someone in your life to buddy up with - a friend or co-worker or someone in a chat room, someone you’ll be honest with. Share with each other what your dream is and how you’ll go about achieving it. Each time you talk be sure to tell each other with sincerity “I know you can do it. Push yourself a little harder and further.” Check in with each other each day or several times per week, and share the actions steps you’ve taken and any results achieved. Be cheerleaders for each other to help cross that finish line and enjoy living the reality of your dreams come true!

Be an awesome jury who always rules in your favor.

Forget all the apostrophe "t's" you use so freely ~ I can't I don't, I haven't. All it really means is I won't.

And remember on the road to creating your dream and your goal:
“You can do it. You can do more. Don’t stop now. Push a little harder. I know you can.”

Who Are Your Heros and Sheros? Are you Talking and Walking Your Vision o...

Who Are your Heros and Sheroes? Are you Talking and Walking Your Vision of Your Life?

Who has been a hero in your life? And who has been a sheroe?
My Grandfather is one of my heroes. Although he hasn’t been alive for some years now his presence in my life was, I believe life-saving. First, I was born into a broken family that was chaotic at best, because the one parent running the household was having issues living life herself. However my mom’s parents were completely there for us. Really present and a big part of our lives. My Grandmother was a Sheroe because she was such a nurturing affectionate force. I love the way she dressed and out herself together and she had tons of energy and was often the silent force behind a lot of things, including my Grandfather. Grandpa was my hero because he gave me things a kid really wants – like laughter, he was a real character and funny as heck. He made me feel hear. When I (or other people to be honest, came into the room he made us deal important and he’d ask us lots of questions about ourselves, people left my Grandpa feeling good, heard, listened to and connected. He also loved to be in front of people teaching, sharing and he was in his time ground breaking in new psychological technologies. He did what he loved to do for a living, he was passionate about his musical career, became a who’s who in international musical and quite renowned, and his passion shone. He was a success, and always thinking and creating.

Walt Whitman said:

“Don’t ask yourself what the world needs; ask yourself what makes you come alive. And then go and do that. Because the world needs is people who have come alive.”

There’s an old story about a dog sitting on its owner’s porch, whimpering, moaning, and groaning. All day the dog would whimper and yowl. Finally a person walking by asked the owner what was wrong with the dog.

“He is sitting on a nail,” the owner said.

“And why doesn’t he get up?” asked the passerby.

“It doesn’t hurt badly enough,” the owner responded.

What’s the dream or goal you want to accomplish that you think of fantasize about yearn for and have not gotten up to do. What goal are you making excuses for because you’re sure you don’t have what it takes or sure it won’t work out anyway? Are you sitting on a nail? Does it hurt badly enough yet for you to get up and act on it?

Success is an intentional response to life. In order to achieve it you have to get up and do something. You have to take a first step. Living intentionally means getting out of your comfort zone. In essence, it’s getting up off that nail.

If you want to learn to swim you have to get into the pool. You can read about swimming, watch others swim and even study the art and science of swimming. But at some point, you have to just dive in. Just start. Do it. Get wet. Gain experience and get better.

Expand your comfort zone by facing your fears. Create new opportunities and be willing to take more risks. This is success.

Just be yourself. Success and happiness are different for every person… what works for one person may not work for you. So be sincere and genuine. Don’t imitate others. Bring your personality to each experience.

Success is having some place to go, a vision, a desired future state. Happiness is the journey to get there. In order to realize success, you must get off the nail. Don’t complain. Just start wherever you are. It’s very important to get moving and take the first step. Confront your fears and realize the benefits of doing so are happiness. Expand your comfort zone. And be yourself!

Once you step into your place in the world and do what you came here to do, become who you’re meant to be, and release the illusions you tell yourself are holding you back – you will then be a hero to someone else. You may never know you were a Sheroe or maybe they’ll take the time to tell you, but out there somewhere there are lives you will impact just by being yourself, taking opportunities, and moving forward.

Get off the nail. Doesn’t it hurt enough already? Get off the nail in your life and go be a person who is alive.

Dare to Forgive - Who and What Do You Need to Forgive? What Are you Holding On to and Is It Hurting You?

Dare to Forgive

FORGIVENESS       from “I Am the Word,” by Paul Selig

“What does man do when man believes himself not to have been forgiven by himself, or by his Creator, or by his fellow man? What is the process of forgiveness? Is one really required to forgive his enemies in order to ascend in consciousness?
“We will tell you this: It’s actually not possible to ascend in consciousness to the extent that you require your brother to suffer.
“The natural state of man is to be in forgiveness and the recognition of the divinity of his brother. That is actually the true state of who you are and how you are intended to negotiate with one another and behave with one another and experience one another.  It’s as if the dance was always in place and everybody could step on one another’s foot as part of the dance and not be smacked for it. And somewhere along the road, man began to hold grudges and to covet and to fear and consequently began to hold their brothers outside of the light while claiming that they could be in the light.  And isn’t that an impossibility, to stand in the light while you demand your brother stand in the darkness?
“Many of you have great rage at what you believe God to be, because he has taken things from you, or you believe he has, when in fact, of course, God does not take, God gives.  God is the benefactor and creation has its cycles of life and death and transformation. So blaming God never gets you anywhere except angry.  It blocks you from the flow of your own Divine Self.
{AFFIRM:}“At this moment in time, I am choosing to forgive myself for any and all trespasses I may have incurred against myself and my fellow man and my creator, I am willing to be forgiven for any and all beliefs that I have held that have stopped me from experiencing myself as forgiveness by my Creator, I am not allowing myself to believe that I can be, and that I am, and that I am being forgiven for anything and everything that I may have done, that I may have imagined, that I may have thought, that I may have experienced that I may have chosen or that I may have been gifted with that has given me reason to not forgive myself, my creator and my fellows. I am now free of unforgiveness and I stand firm in my knowing that I am worthy of the Creator and that I am worthy of my fellow man, and I am worthy of the journey I intend to go in.
“We are saying that unforgiveness locks you in and it locks the relationship into a dynamic that actually does not move. The relationship cannot transform when unforgiveness is in play.
“The willingness to forgive this person or this situation is present within me.”
“Let this alignment come to pass.  You have to encourage it only by deciding that you are not going to continue to withhold forgiveness against your fellows, or the situation, or the self or the Creator. That much is in your hands to make so.”

Forgiveness Sets You Free

Forgiveness has changed my life. I have worked mindfully for years to bring up names of people and situations I have held anger, judgment and separation with/from. Originally I had convinced myself that not forgiving meant they couldn’t hurt me again and I’d remind them they couldn’t do that to me. I told myself it was for the better, it was out of self protection and was self–caring.  But the truth is it was sucking the life out of me. I carried each person and each situation around like an energetic garbage bag slung heavily over my shoulder through each step in my life.

All the reasons I held onto grudges worked against me. Grudges did not protect me, they burdened me. They did not separate me away from anyone harmful they kept me married to them through my hatred. It didn’t allow me to completely love myself because I was busy destroying others with my thoughts and emotions.  Bitterness is a bitter pill I swallowed over and over again and then blamed others for making me swallow. Unforgiveness did not end the terrible hurt I was feeling, it kept the hurt cemented and carried the hurt into each day, month and year.

The process I undertook was to view each name and each situation with the intent to be healed. I looked at each situation, one at a time, from several perspectives. I already was familiar with my angry perspective, so this time I looked at what their perspective possibly was, and at several other perspectives I could think of. I also looked through their eyes at me to see what I did to create my part in the issue. And after much remorse, often tears, and sometimes surprise at what I learned about myself and others, I then took responsibility.  I let go, I forgave.  And to be clear, in a situation where I was not responsible (for instance with my parents when I was a child, etc.) I then looked at what I was doing today with my anger and my hurt and how I was mistreating others through the veil of resentment.  As they say ~ unforgiveness is like drinking poison and hoping someone else will die.
I can tell you that once the forgiveness process was done I felt an amazing freedom. Besides freedom, I gained back attention, self-care, presence, and joy.    No one had control over me any longer. The hurt was gone and new happiness and self-respect in its place.

Forgiveness is a huge subject. It affects our world. Our world has war and strife going on now over misunderstandings, over one people believing that their way of doing things is right, over fear or control over others, and being peeved at the way another country chooses to do things we do not agree with. On a global level we are bombarded by a lack of forgiveness and a lack of understanding and compassion.

"Every decision you make - every decision - is not a decision about what to do. It's a decision about Who You Are. When you see this, when you understand it, everything changes. You begin to see life in a new way. All events, occurrences, and situations turn into opportunities to do what you came here to do."
Neale Donald Walsch
Author of
Conversations With God

Taking that experience to a personal level – what is happening globally with unforgiveness is mirrored by us wherever and whenever we do not forgive ourselves and others.

Forgiving takes work; however the payoff goes to each of us directly. Forgiveness is a great service to the planet and everyone we interact with.

To forgive is to set a prisoner free and discover that the prisoner was you. “ ~Lewis B. Smedes,

“Forgiveness does not change the past, but it does enlarge the future.”  ~Paul Boese

The American Heritage College Dictionary defines "forgive" as, "To renounce anger or resentment against." It goes back to a Greek root word that means "to set free," as in freeing a slave. Ironically, when we forgive, the slave we free is ourselves. We free ourselves from being slaves to our own hatred.

“The best definition of forgiveness I ever heard is giving up the hope that the past could be any different. I love that definition, because it doesn’t mean that you then have to accept the person back into your life. Forgiveness does not mean I now want to have you over for dinner. It doesn’t mean I want to associate with you. It just means I will no longer be tied to the past.”
-Oprah Winfrey

Which means you can mourn until you’re dry, and then you can choose to move on.

Give yourself the best gift this season, the gift of a clean slate, of freedom, or releasing yourself, everyone and everything from the bondage of a grudge. Forgive, let go, move on. It will allow you to be here now, and being here now is truly a dream come true.
